For months now, every time we looked at the skyline over the Chicago River, we saw the ghost of the old Sun-Times Building. But one trip up to the 16th floor of Trump International Hotel &Tower changed all that. Sixteen, the glittering contemporary restaurant run by Melbourne native Frank Brunacci and scheduled to open in early February, is the centerpiece of Donald Trump's long-awaited project. The views are stunning, both inside and out: A soaring ceiling, shimmering chandeliers, and 30-foot windows overlooking the river may make you forget Brunacci's intriguing seasonal creations, such as a Niman Ranch pork trio with Calvados sabayon and chanterelle risotto crisps ($34).
